Biohacker Review: Subtle Nootropic Clarifying Effect
If you’ve spent enough time around the fringes of the Biohacking, anti-aging, and alternative health world, you’ve probably heard whispers about Brown’s gas.
This HydrOxy gas, when inhaled or infused into water, fuels the body with molecular hydrogen, which almost all of us are chronically deficient in. Apparently, the health and healing benefits can be pretty extraordinary. Users say this could put Big Pharma and the hospital-industrial complex out of business.
Well, I finally got an AquaCure for myself. So naturally, I’ll be running a wide range of experiments with it and sharing the results, observations, and inevitable weirdness along the way.
Day 1
I was excited to try breathing the hydroxy Brown's gas for the first time.
I set the machine to a 25% duty cycle and set a timer for 10 minutes. I verified that the nasal cannulas were producing gas by dipping them into a bottle of water and checking for bubbles. Satisfied that I had everything set up correctly, I sat down in what could best be described as a grandpa chair and began deep nasal breathing.
At first, it doesn't really feel or smell like anything.
But after about five minutes, I think I became somewhat buzzed. My initial impression is that there may be a mildly energizing effect, although it's far too early to draw any conclusions from a single session.
That's really all I've got after my first experiment. I'll need a lot more time with it before I can say anything meaningful.
One immediate observation, however: I'm going to need a lot of distilled water if I'm going to keep drinking the water from the second bottle every time.
Day 2
With the AquaCure, I started with inhaling the HydrOxy gas first thing in the morning.
Oddly, after my first day of using the AquaCure, I got an awful night of sleep. Its inventor, George Wiseman, has reported experiencing the same thing. However, breathing the Brown's gas in the morning seemed to have a subtly clarifying nootropic effect.
I inhaled for a full 20 minutes with no problem and then repeated the process two more times throughout the day.
Day 3
Started the same way, with a 20-minute inhalation session in the morning. The previous night, I had slept excellently, with great sleep and body battery scores. Once again, the 20-minute session produced a clarifying effect, although I wouldn't describe it as energizing.
At this point, I've already figured out what my daily AquaCure protocol is likely going to look like...
- I start the morning with 20 minutes of inhalation, usually while reading or thinking about the day ahead.
- Then, about three hours into my workday, I typically take a break from my standing desk to do SuperMemo practice, mnemonic training, a short gratitude exercise, or my face plasticity exercises, which are often paired with breathwork. Twenty minutes with the AquaCure fits nicely into that routine.
- Then, about an hour after lunch, during the early-to-mid-afternoon dip in my ultradian energy rhythm, I sit down again for another 20-minute session.
- Finally, after my wife has done her inhalation session in the mid-afternoon, I pour out some of the hydrogen-rich water, and we drink it.
So far, the effects remain subtle, but I'm only a few days into the experiment. More observations to come.
State of my health
At the beginning of the AquaCure manual, its creator, George Wiseman, urges new users to document their health challenges and physical imperfections before beginning, so they can objectively evaluate what changes, if any, occur over time. So, as a 41-year-old dad in June 2026, here's my baseline...
- I have famously crappy eyes; I'm nearsighted, my vision is often blurry (even while wearing fresh contact lenses), and often my eyes are pretty dry and strained by the end of the work day. Along with my most obvious physical imperfection - my crossed eye. I'll use the safety goggles to pipe in HydrOxy gas, but don't really expect the AquaCure to do much for my crappy eyes.
- I also have a mild case of psoriasis. It's not particularly painful or troublesome, but it shows up on the backs of my hands and occasionally around my elbows.
- Then there's a benign growth under the skin near my upper right shoulder blade. I've had it for over a decade. It's one of those things people tell you that you're "supposed" to get checked out, panic over, and have a doctor stare at. Instead, I've simply monitored it. Over more than ten years, it hasn't changed size at all. I do plan on experimenting with the AquaCure spot applicator on it.
- I also have mild tinnitus in both ears. It's not severe. I can sleep without a noise machine, although I prefer not to.
Recently, I had comprehensive blood work done, which identified two areas with meaningful room for improvement.
- First, my testosterone is near the bottom end of the healthy range (13.1 nmol/L). A year of fatherhood, interrupted sleep, and baby-related chaos have clearly left their mark there. I'm determined to improve those numbers.
- Second, my homocysteine is higher than I'd like (18.1 umol/L), suggesting some degree of vascular inflammation. Of all the issues on this list, that's the one I'm most motivated to address.
Other than those items, I'm in quite good health. My energy levels are high most days, and I barely spend just a few days each year "under the weather" - it's been years since I was bedridden sick.
The AquaCure is likely the Health Answer you've been looking for. Brown's Gas from the AquaCure can change the life of anyone who uses it. In stock and shipping next business day. Lifetime manufacturer warranty. One year satisfaction Guarantee. Why not give it a try? Because you're worth it!
