Vitamin K is a stealth nutrient. People think they can get it from eating vegetables, but there are two types of vitamin K: K1 and K2. Unless you grew up eating only grass-fed meat and raw milk, you’re probably deficient in vitamin K2. It is a fat-soluble vitamin that helps with calcium metabolism.
