Thriving Despite Your Physical Imperfection a mémoire and lifehacking manifesto

There's that moment when you meet a new person, and you can tell that they are just a bit disoriented by your weirdness. You feel that familiar little pang of embarrassment and shame because you know how weird you must look to them. You're physically imperfect. So am I. I know that moment as well as you do…

A witty and in-depth discussion with my beautiful Bulgarian wife about Western men dating abroad, seeking asylum from modernity with the unashamedly feminine women that can be found in Medellin, Colombia, Odessa, Ukraine, or Sofia, Bulgaria--where I filmed this clip pretending to daygame her and her little dog...

I just finished this very entertaining and informative adventurer’s manifesto by Jon Levi, a behavioral scientist who likes to party.

This book follows the storytelling-rich principle, anecdote, and scientific reference format that makes non-fiction a pleasure to read. The author has a formula for epic experiences, but first…

Calling this a negotiator's manifesto would be selling it short, it's an ethical social engineer's guide to getting what you want in nearly every type of human interaction.

The book is written by a veteran FBI hostage negotiator, the different principles of negotiation are illustrated by cases from his career dealing with kidnappers, criminals, and terrorists around the globe along with examples applying the lessons learned in the business world.

How to meet a nice girl instead - from a tantric husband with a better sex life than you!

Women are dangerous.
Good, yet naive, men routinely wreck their lives because they “stick their dick in a blender” — having sex with the wrong kinds of women. STDs, unplanned pregnancies, false accusations, mental health headcases, and divorce make chasing skirts a dangerous game. While lesser men retreat from the pursuit of women into the pixel-powered pleasure world, you have faith that your hunt for a virtuous woman will be fruitful.

"Networking"

Now that’s a word with a not-stellar connotation. Networking brings to mind…

  • These meetups in bars, that we’ve all attended, which are seemingly awkward by design.
  • Those annoying people that send you unsolicited messages on LinkedIn asking to get coffee with you to talk about some opportunity.
  • That guy you barely know who calls you up out of the blue to invite you to attend some multilevel marketing recruitment pow-wow.

I don’t blame you for being not interested in networking, but it is one of the secrets to success and happiness. Networking effectively really does ROI in…

  • Peak life experiences
  • Getting invited to awesome parties
  • It’s the inside track to great job and business opportunities
  • Along with finding true love and companionship

It’s worth figuring out.

When I was a younger man I spent a lot of time sipping $7 drinks at networking meetups in Denver, Colorado exchanging business cards with accountants, nightclub promoters, fashion designers, interns, MLMers, models, journalists, attorneys, mortgage brokers, and seemingly thousands of realtors! Over time it did help me build a high-utility social circle, but it wasn’t the most effective way of doing it. I’ll suggest that instead, you implement…

Without a doubt, one of my most significant assets as a professional and a business person is my letters of reference and testimonials for my services; they do a better job of selling me than I do.

Seriously, I challenge you to tell me you don't want to hire me after taking a quick gander at my third-party credibility here on Limitless Mindset, for my marketing firm and my recommendations on LinkedIn (Update: I had to create a new LinkedIn profile after they banned me for a very silly reason - want to leave me a recommendation?)

If your objective is to become an interesting conversationalist, tricks and techniques will only get you so far. At some point, you actually need to choose to become a more interesting person.

I'll be the first to admit that being an interesting person is just about as subjective and generalized a description you can make about a person. It's like saying that someone is smart. Well, there are a lot of different forms of intelligence; remember, Einstein didn't even know how many feet were in a mile.

In this article, I'm going to quantify the concept of being an interesting person into five distinct aspects: knowledge acquisition, societal outliers, raconteurism (invented word - interesting people invent words), communication style, work, and the entrepreneurial spirit.

Being a great conversationalist requires a combination of mindset and methods.

Luckily, though, you can fake it till you make it. Here, I will cover how to steal a conversation while appearing magnanimous, a sweet body language trick, applying economic concepts to increase the attention people show you, and my favorite "pick up line" to start a conversation.
