Biohacker Review: Sonic medicine is no longer science fiction...

This is the nosiest biohack I've ever tried; the IC Hummer from Infopathy administers PEMF infoceuticals sonically and topically to the body for healing, pain relief, inflammation, sleep, vagus nerve modulation, and more! In this review, I'll break down the PEMF science and tell you about how I've been using it.

The first PEMF infoceutical (IC) I tried...

Was Love (Crown Chakra) during meditation before date night with my wife, I just placed the Hummer on my chest. Before sitting down to dine with my love I also drank the new Psilocybin IC, and found myself in a state of sublimely relaxed arousal. We did a roleplay together and then made love very playfully.

Scientific evidence for PEMF

Electricity has been used as medicine since time immemorial, Roman imperial physicians actually used live electric ray fish. More recently Nikola Tesla observed that our bodies can handle significant electrical current and function as energy-storing electrical condensers.

Nikola Tesla

There are 100 human clinical trials evaluating PEMF as medicine for back pain, fibromyalgia, cervical disc herniation, Parkinson's disease, rotator cuff injuries, chronic pain, concussion recovery, cancer, osteoarthritis, accelerated bone healing, hypertension, and even treatment-resistant depression.

The strongest evidence for PEMF as medicine is for...

Osteoarthritis - A recent Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Randomized Placebo-Controlled Trials evaluated 15 clinical trials and concluded, Compared with placebo, there was a beneficial effect of PEMF therapy on pain, stiffness, and physical function in patients with [Osteoarthritis]. Which should silence the "skeptics" suggesting that PEMF only works on the gullible because of the placebo effect.

Bone Healing - A 2020 meta-analysis evaluated 22 randomized, clinical trials (totaling over 1400 participants) and concluded, Moderate quality evidence suggested that PEMF increased healing rate and relieved pain of fracture, and very low-quality evidence showed that PEMF accelerated healing time.

Cancer - a 2016 European meta-analysis is cautiously optimistic, pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy presents several potential advantages including non‐invasiveness, safety, lack of toxicity for non‐cancerous cells, and the possibility of being combined with other available therapies... These studies show that PEMF therapy is safe and promising compared to other available cancer therapies. As researcher Mark Sloan (who I interviewed) exposed in his books on cancer, mainstream cancer treatments are iatrogenic - causing more harm than help. And alternative treatments like PEMF should be considered if you or a loved one is diagnosed with cancer.

Finally, I'll quote from an article on Infopathy.com, the manufacturer of the IC Hummer.

Over recent years, research into pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs) has gained momentum due to their beneficial effects on animals and humans. In fact, there are more than 10,000 scientific publications describing the effect of PEMFs and more than 2000 double-blind studies conducted around the world demonstrating that PEMF therapy is safe and effective for various conditions.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is an organization that has shown great interest in PEMF research and the use of PEMF therapy for their astronauts. In fact, there was a 4-year study lead by Dr. Thomas Goodwin that focused on the use of various energy medicine devices (including PEMF therapy) on enhancing the growth and repair of tissues in mammals.

How I've been using it...

Fortunately, I don't have cancer, osteoarthritis, or any broken bones. But there are a lot of IC frequencies in Infopathy's database that a biohacker like me can use for performance enhancement.

The second IC I tried was the Super Sleep PEMF; I held the Hummer to my chest for 15 minutes while watching a show. Combining this with the Super Sleep plus CBD that I drank and a little before-bed red light therapy I slept heroically and had a memorable dream.

I don't have any knee issues but I use a standing desk for about seven hours a day and my knees get a bit tired, so I tried Knee Pain Relief - using the Hummer on each knee. I do think it relieved a bit of strain and I managed to stay standing about 90 minutes longer.

IC Hummer HRVOn Anton's (the inventor - who I interviewed) advice, I used the Energy Wake IC for about 15 minutes during meditation which resulted in subtle energizing body sensations and a very positive, clear headspace. I meditate with a red light therapy lamp shining on the crown of my head, listening to Brain.FM binaural beats, while monitoring my heart rate variability with my HeartMath sensor - which resulted in a good but not outstanding (for me) HRV score. While this put me in a very cool headspace, stacking a bunch of different biohacks during meditation robs from the mindfulness itself as the Bluetooth never seems to work flawlessly. What I love about my red light and the Infopathy IC Pad is that you just plug them in and they work reliably.

I've been using it as a digestion hack, after a big dinner I'll administer the Digestion Complete PEMF directly on my belly, this noisy PEMF IC I can really feel and it does get things moving in the right direction down there.

In the evenings I also use Fascia Pain IC for relieving eye strain after a long day of slaving away on the computer so I can create awesome  Limitless Mindset content for your edification!

We did experiment with the Hummer as a "sex hack" and the results were disappointing. After some foreplay, during sex, I held it to my wife's pubic area (being careful to not get lube on the Hummer!) administering a PEMF topically for about 10 minutes - hoping that it would increase blood, pleasure, and orgasm intensity. Her clitoris became oversensitive prematurely and I was not able to bring her to orgasm as I usually am. The next day she had an odd sensation in the spot I PEMF'd her and was not pleased with the experiment. I'll keep PEMFs away from her luscious loins from now on!

Become Boundless with PEMF!

Boundless bookBen Greenfield, in his +1100-page biohacking manifesto Boundless, writes about PEMF in glowing terms, he describes brainwave entrainment...

PEMF therapy works by training your brain to produce particular electrical wavelengths. Your brain produces different electrical wavelengths throughout the day and night, including alpha, beta, delta, and theta brain waves. For example, when you are awake during the day and working, studying, exercising, or engaged in any other activity that requires focus, concentration, or alertness, you predominantly produce alpha and beta brain waves. During periods of sleep and some forms of meditation or relaxation, the brain shifts into higher delta and theta brain wave production. When presented with a rhythmic stimulus, such as PEMF, your brain responds by synchronizing your brain’s electrical activity to the rhythm, a process known as entrainment. (p.201)

And gives some frequency recommendations...

By adjusting the settings, I can use a 3 Hz frequency to lull my brain into a relaxed delta brain wave state, a 10 Hz frequency to generate focus-enhancing alpha brain waves, or a 23 Hz frequency to produce high-alert beta brain waves—or even a 100 Hz frequency for muscle repair (p.200)

The inventor of the IC Hummer clarified that these are the corresponding ICs for these frequencies...

PEMF for brainpower

The most potent cognitive enhancement effect I got from it was with the Brain Gamma (Concentration) IC. I strapped the Hummer onto the back of my head to let the Gamma waves wash right over my brain while listening to the same frequency through my headphones, about 25 minutes later I found myself VERY focused, although I think I prefer musical binaural beats.

Sleep hack

I got some powerful sleep after using that Brain Theta IC - It runs 40 minutes so while watching a documentary I alternated administering it to my chest and then placing the IC Hummer behind my head, lightly holding it against the seatback of my ancient Bulgarian armchair. Then I plugged in my headphones and listened to it as an audible IC, it's a pretty boring noise, but after 20 minutes of listening my pillow was irresistible! Brain Delta (Sleep) had a similar effect, perhaps it was even more sedating, it also runs 40 minutes so I did 20 minutes with the Hummer on the back of my head and 20 minutes listening to it.

Is PEMF safe?

The thing you're probably questioning is, is it safe to beam electricity into your brain like that? The PEMF device is literally millimeters away from your brain!

Ben Greenfield emphasizes its safety in his book...

PEMF therapy is not to be confused with the damaging EMFs (electromagnetic fields) you’ve no doubt heard about. Harmful EMFs and the therapeutic EMFs that PEMF devices generate are very different in their effects. All EMFs interact with tissue and biological systems, but while therapeutic EMFs support cellular communication and health, harmful EMFs negatively impact your body’s functions. The main distinctions between harmful and therapeutic EMFs involve characteristics of the waves themselves: wavelength, exposure time, and frequency. On the electromagnetic spectrum, PEMF devices produce long wavelengths and extremely low to very low frequencies. On the other hand, harmful EMFs have short wavelengths and high frequencies. For example, a 1 Hz PEMF frequency corresponds to a wavelength of about 100 million meters, which is more than 62,000 miles. (The earth’s circumference is just 24,901 miles!) Alternatively, a harmful frequency of about 100 million Hz (which can be produced by your average microwave) has a wavelength of just one meter (about three feet). (p.201)

However, I still wouldn't claim that it's totally harmless to attach this thing to your head or body, because unfortunately, the device requires Bluetooth to work. And Bluetooth is a harmful EMF, non-ionizing radiation that results in a cascade of processes that put us at higher cancer risk. Too much Bluetooth could give you brain cancer in the same way that holding your cell phone to your head could give your cancer. Yet, I still use the Bluetooth headphones often and the Hummer almost daily, do I have a death wish? Not hardly, fortunately, there's a lot that a biohacker can do to mitigate the risks of EMFs; take NAD+ support supplements (like NMN) which fuel the body's PARP system, and before bed don't snack and turn off your WIFI - to name just two things I do.

But the gimmicky, unneeded Bluetooth is my only major criticism of the IC Hummer...

I need to deduct a star from my review because I don't like Bluetooth.

Bluetooth seems to malfunction and not quite connect right about half the time. Sometimes the Bluetooth automatically pairs with the wrong device. Bluetooth is something like catapulting two smurfs into the heavens at great velocities, one from California and the other from Japan, and hoping that they can give each other a high-five over Hawaii as their paths in the stratosphere cross - it just doesn't work great! Also, having read the book EMF*D, I'm no fan of Bluetooth, I'm trying to get fewer EMFs in my life! I wish the Hummer had a port to just plug in an audio cable - like the IC Pad has.

A little more about the device itself, it emits frequencies up to 20 kHz and the magnetic field intensity is 150 uT near the surface - 1.5 gauss for those familiar with PEMF intensities.

Infopathy is a gamechanger

As an American ex-pat living abroad, infopathy is a gamechanger for my biohacking because it means I can just "download" any supplement I want, avoiding the brain damage and tyranny of dealing with international shipping and my local customs office. Living in North America, you don't know how good you have it, just being able to order online any supplement you desire and having it arrive on your doorstep a week later. In many countries, getting packages from the post office is an experience not dissimilar from negotiating with the mafia the release of a hostage! Also, thanks to the COVID pandemic/plandemic, no matter where you are in the world, expect the further breakdown of supply chains, expect specialized supplements and medicine to become more expensive and harder to get your hands on. Just try getting Ivermectin these days (and, yes, there is an Ivermectin IC).

Secret SocietyThis is why I enthusiastically recommend biohacking tech like Infopathy, Heartmath devices, and red-light therapy - buy it once and it empowers your health for years - this is why Infopathy makes the cut, I've added it to my list of recommended vendors - spend over $150 with Infopathy via my link here (save 10% with coupon code Limitless), you'll get a free 30-minute biohacking consultation with me, and you'll be eligible to join the Limitless Mindset Secret Society.

From my biohacker review, Downloadable medicine is NO longer science fiction...
