Mifepristone

Nootropics & Anti-Aging

My thoughts on Mifepristone, the Abortion Pill, Up to 98% effective when used within 8 weeks of pregnancy.

I have not nor do I anticipate using it to have an abortion. I also realize it's a little weird for me as a guy to be doing a video about women's health. However, it's actually relevant to the other sex and contraception Biohacks I've discussed.

And it's consistent with my moral philosophy, I'll explain why later...

Biohacker Review500mg a day keeps my genes genial

In this review, I thought I'd break down why younger or otherwise healthy folks like myself should take NMN. It's a total no-brainer for older folks or those with declining health, in fact, a man biologically aged BACKWARDS from 70 to 44-years-old in 8 months on NMN. But there are 8 good reasons why millennials like myself, I'm 37 years old, might want to take NMN...

Biohacker ReviewMy secret weapon for AMAZING sleep...

I've been using Focus Supplements' Magnesium for some time now. I've been getting some seriously awesome sleep thanks to Magnesium. Sleep quality really matters to everything, a night of mediocre sleep has a high cost in the next day's productivity. In the past, I've struggled with insomnia, but now I sleep better than ever thanks to this pre-bedtime stack...

  • Ashwagandha (2 - 3 grams), Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar tea
  • CBD (10 - 20 milligrams)
  • Magnesium (powdered or capsuled)

A comprehensive game textbook for the modern seducer from the Internet's most infamous (former) pickup artist.

I've read and followed Roosh V for some time, I don't agree with him on everything but I've had a similar path of personal development and find him very insightful.

I'm a case study of the effectiveness of game; I was an awkward young man who really struggled with women for a long time, but then I devoted myself to the art of seduction resulting in a rowdy and memorable sex life across three continents. I got married last year to a lovely Bulgarian woman and funnily, my wife wanted to read this book with me, so we spent several evenings cuddled up reading this book to each other and discussing it.

Biohacker ReviewA Comprehensive Nootropic Regimen from a Credentialed Team

Note: This is a review of truBrain's original racetam-rich Nootropic, I have not reviewed their current line of products.

As a lifehacking, productivity-junkie you should always be looking for products that "small chunk" good consumption habits for you. That's exactly what truBrain does. The monthly Nootropic package they send you contains 44 different packets, each containing 4-6 capsules of different Nootropics.

There are 3 different types of packets in the truBrain package...

  • A.M Packets - Great for my morning productivity and creativity.
  • P.M Packets - The Afternoon package is actually more energizing than the morning packet, which is great for me because the afternoon is usually when I most need the energy. Several times I noticed a 'second wind' of energy 3-4 hours after consuming the P.M packages.
  • Turbo Packets - The first time I tried a turbo was late in the afternoon, after about 7 hours of web development work. I could definitely feel the energy 'kick in' from the Turbo capsule; I did about 45 minutes of pretty rigorous exercise, had dinner while discussing strategy with a client then went out on the town to a language exchange event where I practiced my second language for several hours. I felt quite energetic 'partying sober' till about 1:30 AM and then slept quite soundly.

The primary ingredient in the product is Piracetam, the daily dosage includes 3 grams of Piracetam. I'm a lifetime fan of Piracetam, it's the original Nootropic and has been thoroughly tested for about half a century. Piracetam is also one of the safest things you can put in your body. Interestingly, Piracetam has no LD50, meaning that in rat testing there is NO upper limit lethal dosage of Piracetam. It also contains Pramiracetam, which is supposed to be like next-level Piracetam. I was excited about trying Pramiracetam for quite some time but I really couldn't tell much of a difference.

It contains 8 Nootropic ingredients that sustainably increase Serotonin, Dopamine, and Acetylcholine. It also contains 250 milligrams of Choline which is an important Nootropic cofactor to the Piracetam. Every doctor or expert I've talked to about Piracetam has said that it's a great idea to take Choline with it. Dosages of over 3-4 grams of Piracetam a day can lead to a nervous anxious 'cracked out' feeling, which I've experienced myself. Choline balances this out so you are energetic but clear-headed.

Unlike some other Nootropic supplements I've tried, there's not a strong 'kick in' 20-40 minutes after taking it for the first time. The first few days of taking the product are a loading phase for getting your system accustomed to certain nutrients, after which the day-to-day effects of taking the product are more pronounced. So maybe not the Nootropic stack for those demanding instant results.

The month that I was on truBrain I was juggling a lot: launching another services division of my marketing firm, exercising consistently, improving my 2nd language, various stressors related to settling into my lifestyle as an American ex-pat in South America, and on top of these things I challenged myself by doing a 'sober trip' (meaning I stayed completely sober) while simultaneously going out to socialize 3-5 times a week in downtown Medellin, Colombia which is a quintessential sexy, cosmopolitan vice city. Despite having this much going on I noticed myself managing stress exceptionally well, the entire month I had maybe two or three nights that I laid awake for hours in bed, which is great for me!

You can drink coffee while on it, without feeling cracked out which I appreciate because one of the very best coffee shops in South America is about a 5-minute walk from where I live! It's sharply packaged and I got some interesting questions while taking the supplements in public.

The Snooze test: I like to use Nootropics as part of my waking ritual. At first light or whenever my alarm clock goes off in the morning, I will hit the snooze button and take my Nootropics, drink a glass of water and then go back to bed. I usually set snooze to go off in 20-minute intervals, so by the time the alarm sounds again, the Nootropics should be kicking in and waking me up. truBrain did ok with the snooze test but did not outperform coffee or three 800-milligram tablets of Piracetam.

Looking at the ingredients I would think this supplement would be fairly effective at inducing lucid dreams but I noticed no increased lucid dreaming during the month I took it.

truBrain follows the supplement company business model I trust the most, in that they are transparent about the management of the company. Among the highly credentialed team members listed on the website are Dr. Christoph Michel of the University of Geneva and Dr. Andrew Hill of UCLA. truBrain is unique in the Nootropics industry in that it is backed by a high-end Los Angeles venture capital firm, Start Engine (a division of Accenture, veteran venture capitalist Paul Kessler's company) of which I think adds further credibility to the product.

Speaking of venture capitalists, my understanding is that for the most successful VC's the most important criteria for picking the companies they invest in is the team behind the companies. I recommend picking the supplements you invest in the same way.

truBrain is one of the more expensive supplements on the market, this makes a little more sense when you realize a single packet (of which you take two a day) contains 4-6 different capsules. When you consider the number of supplements you are taking its price point makes more sense.

The product is a little more expensive but it has a money-back guarantee so if you can afford it I would encourage you to try it! If you try it, take 2 minutes to leave an honest review of the product on the Limitless Mindset Mind Power Marketplace listing for truBrain.

Biohacker Review: A Sublime Nootropic Stack with Style!

Day 1
I was excited to try Tao as I picked up from the post office my box full of the suite of Ultra Human products but a bit skeptical because I've tried so many different Nootropic stack products that are underwhelming. The first thing I noted was the great packaging of the stuff;

  • The artwork on the packaging is classically symmetrical. Like an AMG Mercedes or my old Porsche, the Ultra Human products are signed individually by the creator and bear a serial number, that's cool touch!
  • The box itself feels like you're opening the newest smartphone's box. It's certainly more substantial than the generic plastic bottles that 90% of Nootropics come in.
  • Upon opening the box you're presented with an individual capsule evoking the scene from Limitless, where the protagonist is first presented with an individual capsule of NZT-48, in the compartment behind that one capsule you find 30 others.
  • The Nootropic itself is a pill that feels rather substantial instead of a generic plastic capsule full of powder.

Biohacker ReviewNot an outstanding effect

I did as much as 50 milligrams once along with Tyrosine, ALCAR, and Bulletproof coffee and while I was in a good focused mood for about 5 hours I was pretty underwhelmed - the Sunifiram didn't have an outstanding effect.

I took it subliminally and it produces a not overwhelming, yet unpleasant burning sensation under the tongue. Luckily the bad taste was easily washed away by some green tea.

One time, about 90 minutes after about 20 milligrams, I had a noticeable sensation of body heat that really contrasted with the chilly Ukrainian fall weather - almost like the sweets I get from Modafinil.

Biohacker Review: Gents, start your sex hacking with Horny Goat Weed

Perhaps you're enticed by the idea of sex hacking but just a little confused about where you should dive in; taking libido-enhancing supplements, practicing tantric semen-retention techniques, or experimenting with some of the questionable tech and gadgets you've seen advertised. I'll simplify things; start by taking the herb Epimedium, which also goes by the name Horny Goat Weed. What can you look forward to from it...

  • Stronger, harder, longer-lasting erections. You could sort of think of it as herbal Viagra.
  • Sensation enhancement; your dick is going to feel better when you give it what it wants. You'll be a bit more sensitive but if you're like many herbal hackers, counter-intuitively your ejaculatory control won't totally go out the window.
  • Mood enhancement; 20-30 minutes after taking enough you'll be taken by a bit of rowdy adolescent excitement and anticipation about the romp to come.
  • Taken regularly it will have an uplifting effect on your testosterone and male essence. You'll be a bit more interested in the fairer sex and unapologetically masculine.

A caveat; Horny Goat Weed is not exactly herbal Viagra and it should be used as part of a holistic manly health regime. If you eat too much, drink too much, don't get enough sleep, or watch too much porn Horny Goat Weed may not save you from whiskey dick

Biohack ReviewThe swiss army knife of Mitochondrial support supplements

Creatine was one of the first supplements I used out of the behemothic box I received from PureBulk.com because it's the swiss army knife of Mitochondrial support supplements. I use it as both a Nootropic and workout performance enhancer which I'll describe here along with summarizing the most recent science and research done on Creatine.

Biohacker Review: An energizing herbal alternative to coffee

I've been using the Adaptogens Rhodiola, Eleuthero, and Schisandra together for a month now. I've been taking them first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach with my big ass bottle of tea.

I've discovered that consuming the Adaptogens as a tea is a whole lot more of a Nootropic experience. I've begun starting my mornings with a tea that is equal parts of the three powdered herbs.
