Biohacker ReviewStacking Piracetam+Vinpocetine

This is a combination of Piracetam and Vinpocetine. I've been using it for about a month. One of the nice things about Racetams is that you can usually ascertain their Nootropic effect relatively rapidly.

Biohacker ReviewA happiness-hacking antidepressant (but not for stoics)

The anecdotal reports of Tianeptine led me to believe that it's an antidepressant with cumulative effects. So I've been taking two little capsules of Tianeptine a day and it's a pretty subtle effect but I think I like it, although I didn't experience any pronounced cumulative effects.

It adds a background hum of happiness. The best way I can describe it is kind of like rolling; if you've ever done good ecstasy or MDMA and you just had this feeling of inner happiness and satisfaction. It's like that, although not to such an intense degree minus the potent pro-social effects of MDMA. I didn't find myself being impetuously affectionate with everyone. The effect half-life seems a little short, I notice a subtle optimism for about 3-4 hours after dosing.

Book ReviewA Masterclass on a Lost Art

Years back, my friend Hypnautic recommended Robert Greene's book The 48 Laws of Power to me when I was younger. I liked the illustration of power dynamics via historical examples, battles, political intrigues, and characters. This book takes a similar approach to examining the lives of various scientists, doctors, inventors, writers, and artists.

Book Review: A fictional thought experiment about right-wing political violence

The novel is placed in a just barely hypothetical future America descending into leftist anarcho-tyranny.

The premise of the novel is black-pilled, reaching the pessimistic conclusion that political violence is the only way of retaking the USA from the communists, socialists, and psychopaths that have subverted and dominated the institutions of big tech, government, media, and academia.

Book Review: If we can harness the power of flow...

I picked up The Rise of Superman because I would like to spend more time in flow states. I believe in hustling hard and hustling smart but I don't actually spend that much time in flowFlow states result from evolutionary psychology that drastically increases awareness of the world around us.

Biohacker ReviewMakes me red enough to guide Santa's sleigh!

Niacin, which is also called Vitamin B3, is an experiential Nootropic (an experience that you might NOT love!) with a range of Biohacking benefits that make the flush well worth it! This is the immediate release form of this vitamin, not a timed or slow release, I find the skin flush it induces slightly uncomfortable. The trade-off for that passing discomfort is boosting NAD, which has an expansive range of anti-aging benefits - from DNA repair to mental health support.

Biohacker Review: A Sublime Anxiolytic

First impressions of Reishi, it smells magical, 300 milligrams taken as a tea produces a sublimely pleasant anxiolytic effect. I really liked the relaxed and stress-free headspace it produced. Typically, I take a few grams of Ashwagandha before bed but after taking the Reishi I didn't need to. I read for about 15 minutes, fell asleep quickly, and slept deeply.

I had heard from various places around the internet that Reishi is a mushroom for spiritual enlightenment, which sounds totally corny, but on Reishi, I have a subtle sense of relaxed arousal, tranquility, and optimism. I had sex on the stuff once, I think it might be something of a libido promoter but Horny Goat Weed will remain my go-to sex hacks. I wouldn't describe it as a classic sleep hack that knocks you out and puts you to sleep, it just makes you really relaxed which is conducive to sleep or hanging out a reading a book.

The 15-gram package I shared with my wife and went through in about a week. I think I'd have to take more to evaluate the stuff as a long term immune hack. If I try Reishi in the future, I'll get a larger package more.

I did try some Reishi from another source, cheaper stuff and it wasn't as good as Lost Empire's stuff. It didn't taste as magical nor did it have such a sublime tranquilizing effect - quality matter with herbs!

The most credible source of this form that I've identified is Reishi Organic 16:1 Dual Extract sold by Lost Empire Herbs in the USA.

You don't have to spend much time researching Biohacking before you start hearing about the myriad benefits of Dual N-Back training...

  • Sharpening the working memory; the "scratchpad" of the mind that we use to solve problems.
  • Increasing IQ.
  • Lifehacking language learning, by promoting neuroplasticity and grey matter density.
  • Improving fluid intelligence, to solve novel problems intelligently.
  • Increasing self-control.
  • Compartmentalization of emotions.
  • Higher scores on Raven's Matrices Test.

This article is primarily concerned with the "transfer effects" or personal development benefits of Dual N-Back training; I'm of the school of philosophy that if something doesn't ultimately lead to getting me paid or getting me laid, it's not worth my time. I'm all about "know thyself" as long as it leads to more of this...

I'm a big fan of Youth & Earth's liposomal solutions because they take taste engineering seriously!

And the strawberry-vanilla flavor of this one is no exception, you'll enjoy it!

Biohacker ReviewI had to try it because its funny name made me smirk

In the chilly early days of January this year, I started taking capsuled Tiger Milk Mushroom. It's the newest edition to my stack of wintertime immune enhancers; Turkey Tail, Vitamin D3, and Methylene Blue. Experientially, I don't have much to report about it other than the fact that I haven't gotten even a bit ill this winter.
